报告人简介:
William  Rossen教授,目前任教于荷兰代尔夫特理工大学,地球科学与工程学院,石油工程系。他此前曾在雪弗龙公司工作,并曾在美国德州奥斯汀大学担任教授。目前已发表超过100篇期刊论文。Rossen教授目前的研究兴趣包括泡沫的应用、模拟网络中的复杂运移过程、以及理解裂隙系统中的流动机理等。在2011年Rossen教授被评为代尔夫特理工大学最佳授课教师。2012年被美国石油工程师协会评为提高采收率先锋。Rossen教授在求学阶段主要学习化学工程专业,并于麻省理工学院获得学士学位,于明尼苏达大学获得博士学位。William  Rossen is Professor of Reservoir Engineering in the Department of Geoscience and  Engineering, Delft University of Technology. Formerly is he worked at Chevron  Oil Field Research Company and was a Professor at The University of Texas at  Austin.  He has more than 100 journal publications. Prof. Rossen's current  research concerns use of foams for diverting fluid flow in porous media,  modeling complex transport processes in networks, and understanding flow in  naturally fractured geological  formations. Prof. Rossen was named Best  Instructor at Delft University of Technology in 2011. In 2012 he was named an  IOR Pioneer at the SPE/DOE Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery in Tulsa, OK, USA.  He holds S.B. and PhD degrees from MIT and the University of Minnesota,  respectively, both in Chemical Engineering。
